Art or Vandalism?
Sticker art (also known by sticker bombing, slap tagging and sticker tagging) is based on paste stickers on public space. It aims on changing the environment, express some idea or just saying “I was here”. Sticker art is considered as a post-modern subcategory, being classified as post-graffiti.
Stickers are used to fit in ones palm, an easy way to paste and don’t call attention. Additionally, most of the cases they can be easily removed, differently from other forms of street art.
On the other hand, some people consider it purely as vandalism. Generally it is said that they pollute the city, needing the city hall to “clean them of”.



Our aims are:
- classify stickers by color, content and material. So, it would be easy to find them in the site, between others;
- indicate where the sticker was paste, street, city and country, and so its position on map(www.flickr.com/photos/37913675@N07/map);1
- inform photography date; 1
- promote debate.
1 these items contribute, between others, to the possible sticker visitation once “the exposition” has limited duration.
